A Training World of Difference

How do participants learn during IFI workshops?

All instruction is activity based. At least 70% of workshop time is spent in exercises and group discussions. Participants are taught a principle, then practice on real work assignments. Because participants learn by doing, they retain new skills longer.

Can IFI Customize training to meet our needs?

Each workshop IFI conducts is customized to meet the specific needs of your organization as well as each specific group of participants. We work with you to develop a training strategy and workshop exercises unique to the culture and people in your workplace.

What follow up can I expect?

Three to four weeks after training, participants will be contacted for follow-up coaching. We will evaluate work (where possible) and reinforce newly learned skills. Management will receive a follow-up report at the conclusion of each workshop. The report will discuss the workshop and will include results of performance evaluations completed at the end of each course. Additionally, we will provide one year of free, follow-up consultation to make sure your training objectives are met.

How many people should attend an IFI workshop?

Each IFI course is designed for instructor/participant interaction. By keeping class sizes relatively small, skill transfer is enhanced. We suggest a maximum of 25 participants for most classes. However, because of the nature of the exercises and activities, Say It Right should be kept under 12 participants. Our Executive Development Programs are for a maximum of 12 participants.

At IFI Training, IFI, we believe:
